Aloha Kitchen History:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aloha Kitchen Las Vegas was opened in October 5th
1998 by Maria Liza Ochiai.
With the help of Raoul Mangalindan and Larry Yamagata,
Liza expanded on the idea of a Hawaiian themed restaurant
infusing her own ideas and creating a menu that resulted
in a taste that reflects Hawaii. Through hardwork and
dedication, Aloha Kitchen now has grown to
three locations including a
bar
and gaming at one location.
Maria Liza Mangalindan-Ochiai graduated from University
of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Hotel Administration.
She has been very active in sponsoring student organizations
like the Filipino American Student Association(FASA)
and the Hawaiian Club. She also sponsors Halau Ha'a
O Heleloa which is a local Las Vegas hula troop.
